My name is Hannah and I am the artist behind Cold Mountain Ceramics. This growing little business began in 2017 out of a leaky brick shed turned pottery studio. I hold great respect for nature in my heart and am endlessly inspired by the beautiful scenery in our area, often in our own back yard. My hope is to capture the peace and magic of our forests with my work so that you may feel the same sense of organic enchantment when you use these functional pieces of art.
In May of 2021, I purchased a charming stone building in the heart of Downtown Canton, nestled in the ever-captivating Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina to build a community ceramic studio and local art gallery for artists of any medium. It is beyond a dream come true engaging our community of artists and working alongside them. So know that when you support this shop, you’re supporting more than just me - you’re helping support a community of artists realize their own dreams in our sweet little town.
